Arriving in conical hats and gothic attire, they prepare with purifying showers, scented anointings, and moments of intimate self-celebration. Then, around the central altar, their bodies move in a slow, hypnotic dance, intertwining in fluid gestures and shared breaths, enveloped in incense smoke.
